If you are joining us for a fully-catered week then you will fine one of our local professional chefs in the kitchen ready to conjure up creative menus whether you are on an indulgent ski week or here for a sports training event which demands a focus on nutritious as well as delicious.We have a wine cellar stocked with a selection of fantastic local French and Italian wines (we are only a stone’s throw away after all), as well as one or two particular favourites from further afield. We’ll match these to your menus too – it’s all part of dedication to creating memorable meals.
Whether you have booked the Lodge exclusively or are joining us for a shared chalet week, then our fully catered option includes breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and dinner with wine.
Our winter menu can best be described as fine French dining using wholesome, fresh and filling ingredients with matched wines from the cellar.
If you’ve booked the chalet on an exclusive basis, then our chef will work with you to discuss your food preferences and create a bespoke menu which reflects them.
For guests who are travelling with their children, we all know that keeping them happy is the key to a successful holiday. So, if you’d rather the children eat separately, then our team are always happy to create age appropriate early meals for them – leaving you free to enjoy an adult dining experience later in the evening.
We’re adept at ensuring that guests with specific or restrictive dietary requirements are well catered for. Just tell us about any allergies or intolerances at the time of booking and we will develop a menu which means you can relax safe in the knowledge that we’ll meet every need.
If you are joining us for a sports training camp, then our catering will be focused on delivering calorie balanced nutritious and tasty breakfasts, recovery snacks, smoothies and evening meals designed to balance maximum energy with minimum fat to keep energy levels high so you can perform at your peak – with indulgent treats included from time to time too.
BlackRock Ski Lodge can be booked on a fully-catered or self-catered basis both winter and summer. That option gives you access to all the facilities BlackRock has to offer so that you can make it your home from home.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cater for yourselves. Alternatively, there are a host of great bistros, restaurants and eateries the lengthy of the valley for you to explore. And, if you’d like the occasional meal cooked for you then we can offer both private chefs or bistro-style delivery dinners – just ask us for a quote.
